Medical-grade Microneedling in Cambridge

Refine your skin with Collagen Induction Therapy.

Skin
Regeneration

Medical-grade microneedling works by stimulating your skin’s natural healing process to boost collagen and elastin production.

By creating tiny, controlled micro-injuries, microneedling—also known as Collagen Induction Therapy—triggers your body’s natural healing process. This stimulates the release of growth factors that help rebuild the skin, boosting collagen, elastin, and blood flow.

As a result, your skin becomes stronger, with improved tone, texture, elasticity, and overall quality, leaving it smoother, revitalised, and glowing.

At Aésthira, we use an FDA-approved, medical-grade microneedling device to deliver the highest standard of care. We stay up-to-date with the latest training and evidence-based protocols, ensuring safe, controlled, and results-driven outcomes

Collagen induction therapy benefits:

  • Softens fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improves uneven skin tone

  • Reduces enlarged pores

  • Reduces the appearance of pigmentation and acne scarring

  • Helps smooth and  firm the skin

  • Reduces the apperance of stretch marks

Medical-grade Microneedling FAQs

What makes this “medical-grade” Microneedling?

Medical-grade microneedling uses advanced, FDA-approved devices and controlled needle depth to safely target deeper skin layers. Performed by trained medical professionals, these devices use sterilised, medical-grade needles to stimulate collagen and elastin production, resulting in stronger, longer-lasting, and more visible results

How many treatments will I need?

Most clients see best results with a course of 3 to 6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Your Nurse will recommend a personalised treatment plan based on your skin’s needs.

Is Microneedling painful?

Microneedling is not entirely pain-free, though most patients find the discomfort to be manageable and tolerable. Please discuss pain management options with your practitioner. Topical numbing cream may be available upon request.

What is the downtime?

You can expect redness similar to mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. Some light flaking or dryness may occur as the skin renews itself. Most patients can return to their normal routine quickly.

Is Microneedling safe for all skin types?

Yes, when performed correctly, microneedling is safe for all skin types.
At your initial consultation, we will assess whether this treatment is right for you.

Can Microneedling be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Microneedling can be combined with treatments such as chemical peels, skin boosters, and dermal fillers as part of a multi-modality treatment plan to improve skin quality, hydration, and structural support.  At Aésthira, we highly encourage a multi-modality approach to skin health.
Treatment selection, order, and timing are carefully planned to maintain skin integrity and achieve balanced, natural results.

Can I wear makeup after microneedling?

It is best to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after treatment to allow the skin to heal and reduce the risk of infection.
